About us

Who we are

“Adiko” is a word in lugbara language that means “Story”. Many young people’s story is one of numerous daily struggles coupled with serious financial challenges.

At Adiko, we aim to change the narrative of the youth to a story of hope and resilience. We want to energize young people to focus on discovering and developing their talents and abilities. This way, they nolonger have to engage in questionable activities to earn a living. We will support them to grow both psychologically and financially so that they can contribute in community development.

We are a team of change-makers who believe that everyone can contribute when it comes to creating an inclusive community for every young person. Together we can achieve harmony.

Our approach

Our Mission

Our mission is to identify, nature and develop talents and abilities among young people so that they can inspire positive change and actively contribute in the development of their community.

Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that the youth get support that meets them wherever they are as quickly as possible.

Our Vision

We envision a community where young people are free and able to discover, explore and develop their talents and abilities without being suppressed or silenced by their society.

We work with people who are not only skilled and experienced, but also people just like us, who believe in positive social change.
